CYCLING ROUTES and BICYCLE HIRE

Popular routes are designated on maps available from the Tourism Bureau or the Forestry Department on 044-382 5466. Many undesignated routes are also ideal for cycling and some are listed here below. Most routes pass through an array of natural environments such as forest, fynbos, estuaries, rivers, and mountains. Many of the cycling routes include some single track riding.

Cyclists are requested to stay on the paths and avoid impact with the environment.
Permits, when required, are generally available at manned entry points.
